I’ve been up to my ears in hair! Not even my own! tee hee

OK, it’s technically not even hair, it’s saran doll hair! After much playing and fiddling I have made a couple of wigs for Topper Dawn and Palitoy Pippa dolls. Despite the fact that these dolls normally have hair (lol!) many have met budding hair dressers and barbers in their past, or have lost their hair through other means over time. Sometimes it takes me a while to get around to a reroot and I wanted something for the bald ‘ladies in waiting’ lol! Then I thought that likely other collectors have got a few bald girls waiting for hair too. These wigs are like a reroot without the work!

I have made two styles, one is a princess length, very long blonde braid tied with gold cording. I also spent much time figuring out how to make a wig stand for my hair creations too. A nice to place to store them when not being worn, or a nice diorama accessory. The doll bust would make a nice hat stand too, I think!
