Here’s my annual Christmas Eve dolly poem. Enjoy! Happy Christmas!
Twas the night before Christmas
When all through my house,
The dolls were all sleeping each as quiet as a mouse.
Not normal, unusual, my girls are not mellow
Most often heard here? A shriek or a bellow!
Good natured they are, to each other most often,
Add fashions and jewelry, peaceful resolve can soften.
This quiet , this silence, has made me uneasy
It’s eerie, unnatural and makes me quite queasy,
How can I sleep when I know what awaits?
The music, the dancing, the unsavory dates?
Sleep will come claim me, resistance is futile,
At least I’ll rest knowing they’ll party in style!
May the all the love and joy of the season be with you and your loved ones throughout this holiday season. Many thanks for all your support through the past year.
